Josie Wray, a rising artist with a cool, bright and graceful essence whose style can best be described as R&B/soul with a twist of Jazz. The singers voice radiates a warm captivating and soothing tone. Born & raised in Sheffield UK and stemming from a music family background, the youngest of three began singing & song-writing from the age of ten, inspired by artists such as Jill Scott, Minnie Riperton & Dinah Washington, her debut single was released in 2019, “Food for my Soul” with its subtle melodies and warm lyrics, the track presents her alluring presence as a singer-songwriter and was played on BBC Radio.
