Joshua Burnside

Joshua Burnside is a folk singer, songwriter and producer from County Down, N.Ireland. He has released several records, including his debut EPHRATA which one the NI Music Prize in 2017, his highly acclaimed follow up Into the Depths of Hell, and various compilations and EPs. He is based in Belfast where he records his music, often using experimental recording techniques, incorporating lo-fi, sound collage, tape loops and unusual instrumentation. His music draws heavily from the Irish music tradition, as well as from Rock, Indie and Americana. His latest record, Teeth Of Time, is out now via Nettwerk Music Group.
