A Brighton native, Jordi Alkema has been performing across his home city for over a decade. After a spell fronting local band, Yancy Dangerfield, Jordi embarked on a solo project that allowed his strength as a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist to truly shine. Jordi takes a darker turn on his latest release, moving away from the ambient style he had previously been writing. Misery Dirt is a response to intensity and stress. This is music as catharsis.
