Jimmy Galvin

Jimmy Galvin is a Bristol based artist/composer/pianist and curator he composes neo classical music and performs solo piano concerts as well as composing for string ensembles. He has exhibited alongside many leading artists and recently curated the Yoko Ono/INTERVENTIONS/2 @ Bristol Museum. He sites his main influences as Samuel Beckett, Marcel Duchamp, Erik Satie, Rothko,Velasquez, Luchino Visconti, Shiraga, Bach, Glen Gould, Stravinsky,Marcel Proust,Thomas Chatterton, Ludwig Wittgenstein, Jobim and Frank Sinatra.
