James Hatem

Hatem is a passionate singer/songwriter from the heart of New Jersey but now calling Nashville home. With a deep love for genuine, raw songwriting, James has been on a musical journey that has taken him through the Northeast, Midwest, Southeast, and Northwest regions of North America, leaving his mark with over 150 self-booked shows. From a young age, James harbored a profound passion for the guitar and honest storytelling. Influenced by the likes of John Mayer, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, and The Band, he crafted compelling songs that guide audiences on a personal musical exploration of self-discovery. His unique blend of raw songwriting and a blues-rock sound permeates all of his work, making each piece a reflection of his authentic musical soul. In 2021, Hatem attempted the Guinness World Record for most shows played in 24 hrs, accomplishing performing at 80 venues in the Nashville area. This remarkable accomplishment added to his list of achievements, which includes nationwide tours and features in prestigious publications like Guitar World Magazine, Nashville Scene, Canvas Rebel, and Inside Edition. Hatem has also shared the stage with legendary names including The Rolling Stones, Dolly Parton, Kansas, and Ricky Skaggs. Last year, he took center stage at Nashville's renowned Acme Feed Seed, hosting a monthly residency where he invited different musicians from all over the area to join him each month, like Cole Ritter, Katie Grace Davis and Miwi La Lupa (Bright Eyes).
