Hot Sauce

Hot Sauce

Based in Brooklyn, but representing Trinidad and Tobago, Hot Sauce is stepping into the music scene with plenty vibes! Hot Sauce whose real name is Ajibike Young, is a graduate of Brooklyn College who majored in Communications. While in college, she co-hosted an evening radio show, as well as launched her own podcast “Hot Sauce and Mango”, in which she credits her name as the embodiment of her personality, sweet with a kick of spice in your backside! The transition into music came seamlessly as she grew up playing the violin, clarinet and Trinidad’s very own steel pan. Her debut single, “No Chupidness”, on Stockroom Productions' Side Piece Riddim is a reminder to all women that “we not doing that again, again, again” or in other words, “leave him alone girl”! Although her first song has a strong soca feel, she’s making waves in other genres with her follow up single “Tingz & Dem” on Breakthrough Riddim by Markus Records. “Tingz & Dem” is catchy and sexy anthem with a Dancehall and R&B showcasing her seductive vocals. Hot Sauce brings the edge to all of her music by connecting her love for Caribbean culture and her hometown of Brooklyn with bits and pieces of her own life story.
