The eclectic metal band Horndal tells true horror stories from their dead post-industrial hometown with the same name as the band. The first EP, recorded by Steve Albini, set the stage. The debut album “Remains” dealed with Satan coming to town and closing the steel mill, in the sophomore album “Lake Drinker” big tech exploited the land - Lucifer was back to drink their lake. The new album “Head Hammer Man” tells the true story about when a civil war was on the brink of breaking out, in Horndal. A story too big for the album, so a whole novel was written.
