Heptagram

heptagram is a space rock band created by Bulgarian multi-instrumentalist Daniel Ivanov. His 18th birthday was marked by the release of his first self-titled album in 2007 recorded in his bedroom, followed by his first professional studio effort in 2012 entitled 'Lucidity'. The album mixes various sub-genres of rock, taking 5 years of writing, arranging and recording. In 2018 'Glass Elevators' was released, which developed the psychedelic and progressive sound of heptagram's previous work. The album was mastered by Eric Broyhill (Crosses, Chon) and some of the tracks were mixed by Chris Brown known for his work with Pink Floyd, Radiohead & Muse. This release was followed by an LP entitled 'Larval' (2020). The follow up album 'Submerge' was released in October 2023, which featured a more bass-driven, minimalistic approach to song structure, layered with dreamy textures with hypnotic guitars and vocals. Currently, heptagram performs live as a 3 piece band, with a pauseless setlist that includes tracks from three independently released albums, ambient interludes and live jams.
