Guardrail

Guardrail is a band from Chicago, IL consisting of Kevin Andrew (vocals), Ken Ugel (guitar), Xack Brame (guitar/vocals), Ty Olmsted (bass/vocals), and Brennan Gilbert (drums). Declaring their genre as “Diet Punk”, their sound takes influence from all over the alternative music spectrum, from pop-punk (Sum 41, blink-182), to skate punk (Lagwagon, Bouncing Souls), to post-hardcore (Story Of The Year, Silverstein). With melodies that will stick in your head for weeks, drums you can’t help but bounce to, and riffs that’ll make you want to start a circle pit, Guardrail continues to build on a sound they call their own. With 3 EP’s already under their belt, their first full-length album ‘Content’ was released in 2023 via Open Your Ears Records.
