Gravy Jones

An alien android that has lain dormant for a thousand years, now bursting free from its slumber, tasked with the eternal mission to shake booties, observe and document artistic progression, and, most importantly, make gravy, baby. Based out of Austin, Texas, Gravy Jones plans to take intergalactic funk and underground electronic music to the next level. Focusing on using samplers, drum machines, and hardware synths, Gravy Jones tries to bridge a gap between the terrestrial and the ethereal, the Dirty of Southern Hip-Hop with the edgy minimalism of German Electro, the 4 on the floor to the 2-4. While not laying down fat beats, Gravy Jones moonlights as a live music photographer and music video director.
