Gigios

Born in São Paulo and raised around the world, Gigios grew up with a blend of cultures shaping his identity: the golden era of american hip-hop was dominating the radio waves, and a young Gigios was learning to play the saxophone, percussion, and joining the church choir. His faith was tested when hedonism knocked at his door, and the nights were spent listening to electronic music and burning brain cells with friends. His debut album Simplesmente Gigios (“Simply Gigios”) is a 7-year labour of love, encompassing various moments and setups. The underlying thread connecting these elements is an artist (and human) in a constant state of evolution. A resident and founder of the party “Climão” Gigios simply tries to keep it real every time.
