Ghoulish

Few have captured the essence of the UK’s dance music culture in recent years quite like Manchester’s Ghoulish. It’s rare to find an artist that blurs the lines between so many styles whilst retaining mainstream accessibility with a slick underground edge. In his short time releasing music, Ghoulish has caught the attention of many dance music titans such as Skream, Seth Troxler (to name a few) who caught wind of the young producer's capabilities early and have been waving the flag for him as he was featured on both of their fabric lineups as well as releasing his debut EP on Skream’s IFEEL imprint. Ghoulish’s inspiration stems from a wide variety of music spanning from UK Garage, Dubstep, Breaks, House all the way to Jazz and Metal which can be heard through his eclectic DJ sets that have seen him play on some of the most revered stages in the world. In the past two years Ghoulish has been featured as a one to watch by both Mixmag and UKF and had his track “Hold Tight” named one of the best releases of the year and his latest single “Arc Flash” premiered by DJ Mag. Ghoulish aka Adam Harper finds himself in the midst of a melting point of styles where he can’t necessarily be pinned down to one but can most definitely be heard with whatever he turns his hands to.
