Hey, I'm George Lawson an independent artist from Lancashire. I really wear my heart on my sleeve when it comes to writing my songs. I write high energy, anthemic indie pop tunes mixed with vulnerable and slightly melancholic undertones, talking about my life experiences of falling in and out of love, dealing with loss and just trying to understand myself and the ever changing world around me. I released my debut single ‘Me&U’ in January, closely followed by my second single ‘MISYA’ and through self promotion on social media I managed to gain the attention of BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing, meaning my first 2 singles alone had multiple national radio plays. Following on from this I released another two singles ‘End of a Gun’ & ‘Stop Signs’ which made it onto some major Spotify playlists growing my overall streams and monthly listeners, along with more successful radio plays.
