ABOUT GB:
Mexican American rapper GB is changing the California rap scene by using a unique set of skills he acquired while growing up in the poverty-stricken streets of Merced, C.A. Born and raised in Merced, to immigrant parents out of Mexico, GB grew up in a high-crime rate underprivileged neighborhood, where he was forced to grow up in an unconventional environment.
After being in and out of prison during his early 20s, GB decided he wanted to dedicate both his career and life to 'giving back to the streets that raised him."
Following the overly popular success of his albums "186.22" and "Getto Boy," GB received negative attention while also being targeted by the City of Merced, being profiled for his past mistakes.
In 2024 GB applied for a permit from the City of Merced to throw his annual "Give Back at The Park" event at his hometown park, which was wrongfully denied for felonious and villainous reasons.
Despite multiple attempts to assassinate his character, GB has just released his new highly anticipated album "El Nino Del Barrio," which outlines recent issues he has been tackling during his fight for better treatment of all people in his city.
