Gavin McLeod is a 25-year-old Indie Rock artist hailing from Toronto, Canada. He started playing music at only 10 years of age, and has quickly emerged as a seasoned singer-songwriter and accomplished guitarist. His early experiences playing gigs and festivals paved the way for a career marked by a deep dedication and love for music. Forming a band with friends from a young age, Gavin's collaborative spirit shines through in this new endeavour, created with that same band of brothers, live off the floor in the studio. Inspired by a diverse array of influences ranging from 1970s singer-songwriters to modern UK indie rock, Gavin's music blends heartfelt lyrics with infectious melodies, captivating audiences with its authenticity and energy. In 2019, Gavin released his debut EP, "The Hollow," which laid the groundwork for his debut album, "The Constant Astonishment." Produced by acclaimed industry veteran Ross Hayes Citrullo, the album demonstrates Gavin's dynamic songwriting and the telepathic chemistry of his bandmates, delivering a compelling mix of alt-country, pop rock, and 1990s Brit-rock influences. Gavin has made appearances on television, founded successful charity initiatives, and built a strong online presence through popular YouTube channels. With the support of the FACTOR Juried Sound Recording Grant and a dedicated team behind him, Gavin and his band are poised to share their music with audiences around the world.
