Winners of Glastonbury Festival’s Pilton Party 2023 and Best Live Act Original Music Awards (Dorset) 2023, Galaxy Thief are an indie rock 4-piece from Swanage, UK. Formed in 2017, influences from bands such as Nothing But Thieves, The 1975, The Band CAMINO & Angels and Airwaves infuse their own unique and unprecedented sound. From local music venues to festivals around the UK, they have built a reputation for energetic live shows that bring their fans back time and time again. The unstoppable band brotherhood is made up of Rhys Messenger (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), George Bowerman (Lead Guitar/Vocals), Ben Watton (Drums) and Jake Trim (Bass/Vocals). The band have unleashed 2 EP's and a bunch of singles prior to a shift in aesthetic in 2021. Collaboration with producer Michael Smith (RYP Recordings) has brought a succession of groundbreaking releases, most recently GOLDEN DAYS (2024). With new tracks recorded and ready for 2025, this band are on the brink of greater things. On the back of widespread radio play and interviews as well as TV appearances, recognition for Galaxy Thief is growing exponentially. Live performances throughout the UK bring their dynamic energy and exceptional musicianship to an ever growing audience.
