Flesh Parade

FLESH PARADE is a Grindcore band from New Orleans, LA, that started in 1990 with a unique sound influenced by Death Metal and Grindcore. They released their first demo "MEATHOOK" in 1991, but the original lineup struggled and members left, including bassist C. J. PIERCE, who later joined DROWNING POOL. The band reformed with JASON PILGRIM on vocals, RENE PEREZ on guitar, TODD CAPITON on drums & JOE MILITELLO on guitar. Ben Marrs was added on bass but Marrs left before recording new demos. SHANE LECHLER joined as bassist in 1994. In 1997, they signed with RELAPSE RECORDS and released "KILL WHITEY" but went on hiatus by 2000. After reuniting briefly in 2005 and facing challenges from Hurricane Katrina, they regrouped in 2007 with new members. Their album "DIRTY SWEET" came out in 2010, and they welcomed back PILGRIM in 2012. In 2025, they will celebrate their 35th Anniversary with a world tour, featuring longtime and new members, honoring their Grindcore style.
