Rapper Fatal first surfaced as a member of [wimpLink artistId="26006"]the Outlaws[/wimpLink], a collective organized by [wimpLink artistId="5192"]Tupac Shakur[/wimpLink] during his 1994 incarceration in an upstate New York prison cell. Also including rapper Khadafi, [wimpLink artistId="26006"]the Outlaws[/wimpLink] made their recorded debut on Shakur's [wimpLink albumId="199699710"]All Eyez on Me[/wimpLink] album; however, after [wimpLink artistId="5192"]Shakur[/wimpLink] and Khadafi were both murdered in separate 1996 incidents, Fatal was forced to go it alone, signing with the Relativity label to release his solo debut In the Line of Fire. ~ Jason Ankeny
