Failstate

Failstate are a four-piece Emo/Alternative band from Newport, South Wales that have been active since Autumn 2022. The past year has been a busy one for Failstate. Their singles ‘Losing Sleep’ and ‘Another Ghost’ gained airplay on BBC Radio 1, they played three sold-out hometown shows and even landed a coveted spot in the top 10 of Kerrang! Radio’s “The Deal” competition. June 2023 marked the release of their debut EP ‘Sad Truth’, along with the music video for leading single “Are You Lonely?”. They packed out Le Pub for their home-town launch show and the EP garnered a positive response from online publications, international radio shows and podcasts. They even secured an acoustic performance at 2000Trees festival. Autumn 2023 saw the release of their fourth single ‘Scar’, followed by a co-headlining tour to support its release and a sold-out headline show to end 2023. With momentum on their side, Failstate are setting their sights on 2024. Their anthemic single, “Lifeguard” released May 10th (along with an accompanying music video + HMV in store performances) as well some huge shows at The Corn Exchange, Newport supporting “Jump the Underground” & mainstage at this year’s Underground Festival alongside ‘As December Falls’ and ‘Saint Agnes’ 2024 is shaping up to be another promising year for the band.
