Hello my love, it’s me. I’ve written you an EP. I’ve gotten to know her really well over the past year and half and now she is all yours. At times she was excruciating to write and even harder to finish. I’d be lying if there weren’t times I thought I should just forget about her all together and bury each lyric into a notebook. But, even on the bad days, I went back for her. Tending to her withered leaves and watering her parched roots. I gave her time and she made me patient. She taught me to be kinder. Not to give up on myself. If she can be just a fraction of the pillar she has been for me, to you, it would have been worth every second. There really is nothing small about talking to you.
