Esthesis
Rock / Progressive Rock
Esthesis is a French modern progressive & art rock project.
Formed and led by multi-instrumentalist Aurélien Goude (music & lyrics, keyboards, vocals...), the line up includes Marc Anguill (bass guitar), Arnaud Nicolau (drums), Rémi Geyer (lead guitar) and Mathilde Collet (backing vocals). Esthesis music is characterized by many influences (british rock, film score, jazz, metal, ambient & electronic...) and based on powerful melodies and ambiences. After a first sold out EP in 2019 ("Raising Hands"), Esthesis released a debut album in November 2020 ("The Awakening") and won the "best unsigned band 2020" award in Prog Reader's Poll.
Esthesis' highly anticipated new album, "Watching Worlds Collide", has been released on CD, digital & streaming in 2022, on the independent label and music production company Misty Tones. The album has been released for the very first time on deluxe limited, numbered & signed vinyl on 19th August 2023.
"Watching Worlds Collide" has been acclaimed by many rock magazines around the world, also including "Album Of The Year" award by Album Rock and Music Waves. Esthesis is currently on tour and played notably at the Poppodium Boerderij as a headliner (with John Mitchell on support) and at Night Of The Prog Festival (Loreley) with Soen and Leprous. We will be back in 2024 at the Motocultor Festival in France (with Opeth, Riverside and Myrath). More to come...
