This singer and songwriter has been in the music biz since her teens and her private life is a whirlwind of headlines and something of a "Who's who in metal "with f. e exhusband Yngwie Malmsteen and partner Stam, former bassplayer in Mustasch.
In 1990 she released her debutalbum "Cold winter night". co written with mainly Håkan Almquist and Bobby Ljunggren. The album went tripple platinum (today's standard) and had a number one hit and several top ten hits.
This was followed by sold out tours where several shows had to be cut short due to the crowds forcing through the crush barriers.
Erika's second album "In the arms of a stranger" also produced several hits and a sold out tour. Her third album "Lady Luck" released in 1993 contained the hit song "Lost in paradise", a duet with Jan Johansen.
Erika released of her fourth album "Planet X" in 1997 and the fifth album "Ripe" in 1998 . After a long break being. stay at home mom , Erika released her sixth album, "Deaf, dumb & blonde" in 2016 and including work from several well known musicians from bands such as Europe, In Flames and Candlemass.
2020 was the 30 year jubilee of Erika´s recording career and the release of her seventh album REMEDY FOR SOBRIETY.
She is currently recording a new album, set for release 2024.
Erika also produces and co-hosts podcasts Rock Bottom and Gnällspikarna + You Tube metal show Decibel TV.
