Elephonic
Classical / Chamber Music
Mike Jarvis was the lead singer and songwriter of two of Milwaukee’s critically acclaimed and much beloved
bands: The Blow Pops and The Lackloves. After a little down time and wood shedding, Jarvis is back with arguably
his best effort to date. This new, fully realized and energized sonic vision of sprawling chamber pop is
called Elephonic and features some of the best musicians Milwaukee has to offer.
So, what is Elephonic?
Elephonic is timeless. Elephonic is simultaneously familiar sounding yet wholly original and new. They are the
perfectly constructed and joyous melody, the aching loss, the inescapable emotion, and the quiet peace.
With cascading waterfalls of cello and shimmering violin, sweeping keyboards, clinic-worthy guitars, impenetrable
rhythm, and exquisite harmonies, Elephonic ups the ante on all things melodious, exuberant, and POP. Like all of
Jarvis’s previous releases, you won’t find a bad track in the lot.
Elephonic’s self-titled full-length debut will be available on all streaming services 5/1/23. Get Hip Recordings
(uber cool stalwart label out of Pittsburgh, PA) will also be distributing and releasing CDs for the band, with the
potential of vinyl down the road.
Without further ado..
