Early Flights

Early Flights is a punk-rock/gruff-punk/whatever-you-might-call-it band from Madrid. Formed in 2018, they released their first EP “Icing” in January 2020: a blend of catchy melodies, energic rhythms and gang vocals which will give you an insight about their experiences with relationships, partying, getting old and Ice hockey. The first single of their second EP "Aging" was “Fall Season”: an open-hearted homage to those who are no longer around, which was released in October 2023 right before achieving one of their goals as friends and as a band - performing at The Fest in Gainesville, FL. Can’t think of a better way to celebrate all of them. “Aging”, released February 2024, was born in a time of cruel clash between an acute angst from adulthood responsibilities and an unstoppable nostalgia of the blissfulness of youth triggered by an old picture of a 1994 USA FIFA World Cup cap. It picks up right from where “Icing” left it, and pushes a step forward: the themes are familiar, but the taste is a little more bitter. That’s what aging does to you, right? If you feel like "Why is it my 40th birthday today if yesterday was 2008 and it was awesome?" it's your lucky day! You will enjoy Early Flights to the fullest!
