Lyon-based, Creole afro-futurists, Dowdelin champion the sounds of present day Caribbean on their divergent and danceable latest EP, Péké Viré, forthcoming this March 2023 via Underdog Records. Dowdelin explores as a tireless ever moving trailbazer a path where Creole jazz, electronic dancefloor sounds and Caribbean percussions come together to create a unique Future Kréol feeling. Dowdelin is plunging the traditions of the French West Indies into a great fountain of electronic youth glazed in jazz, in a way that few have so far. Nomade et défricheur, Dowdelin explore un chemin où s’assemblent jazz créole, dancefloor électronique et percussions antillaises pour façonner un feeling Future Kréol unique. Dowdelin est un quartet explorant l’afro-futurisme dans sa version créolisée, plongeant les traditions des Antilles françaises dans un grand bain de jouvence électronique réchauffé au jazz, comme peu l’ont fait jusqu’ici.
