Djeda Joy (22) is an upcoming artist from the south of The Netherlands and she brings a new, fresh sound to the music scene. As a little girl, she grew up in a music-loving household and she started to feel that love for music as well in no time. She loved R&B in particular. Djeda started dancing at the age of 5 and she started writing lyrics, poems and stories in middle school. She recorded her first song at the age of 16. At first, she started making plugg music. But now she’s developing her own unique sound with influences of her biggest inspirations like: Aaliyah, D’Angelo, Pharrell Williams, Justin Timberlake, Kelis etc. Djeda Joy brings the 90’s/00’s taste back again with creative melodies, flows, and lyrics from the heart.
