DeLaurentis

DeLaurentis FR

Pop / Indie Pop / Pop
Often described as an “Electronicist”, DeLaurentis is characterized as a french electronic artist who composes music as art. She brilliantly demonstrates this with her second album Musicalism. Undoubtedly her most accomplished work, is produced and inspired by synesthesia. Her relationship with color and emotion runs throughout Musicalism’s thirteen tracks, whose titles are intelligently linked to a particular color. Joachim Garraud was another important encounter in the creative process. Four years ago, as part of a side project, she found herself jamming with the French electronic pioneer in the Californian desert and then at festivals. The DeLaurentis laboratory is also open to collaborations : Jay-Jay Johanson, Osteoleuco, Isabelle Adjani, Oxia and also with innovative technologies by manipulating the IRCAM's Virtual Choir or Sony CSL's artificial intelligence tools. She caught the eye of many when her track "A Big Part Of A Big Sun" was featured in the Netflix series "How To Get Away With Murder" in 2018. Soon after, numerous collaborations ensued, notably with Issey Miyake for the soundtrack of the SS20 runway show. Her upcoming album "Musicalism" will be released on January 17, 2025, it was conceived as a “spatial audio experience”, mixed in Dolby Atmos with Hervé Déjardin at Radio France with a 360° immersive live show "Sound and Images 3D". In the music of DeLaurentis, the future is now !
