Deadroots

The band DEADROOTS was founded in 2020 by three friends Mates, Paja and Adam - by that time 6th-graders at the elementary school. All three of them have musical background - they are proud sons of proud fathers - active members of bands Satisfucktion, Taedifer, in the past as well Ingrowing and Locomotive. First 2 years of DEADROOTS history have been driven and fueled by playing cover songs of their idols such as Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, Nirvana, Sepultura and other bands that have played, play and always will play important role in the live of newborn metalheads.  One year later, in 2021 the line-up stabilized, and the band moved from playing cover songs to writing own songs. The DEADROOTS music stands on solid foundations of true metal spirit, groovy riffs and the healthy dose of youngsters` anger and FTW-attitutde. Bands that reign DEADROOTS` records collections and playlists? Death, Slayer, Sepultura, Corrosion Of Conformity, Alice In Chains, Anthrax, Power Trip, Exorcizphobia, Faüst...the list could go on and on...  DEADROOTS recorded their first EP "Trapped" in 2023 (all songs were written and composed by them in the age of 13-14), in 2024 they are heading to renowned and respected HELLSOUND studio to record a full-length album with producer Jan Kapák (Master`s Hammer, Bohemyst, Avenger), who stands behind recording of many czech underground extreme music scene jewels as Gride, Lahar, Faüst, etc.
