Wrapped up in a blanket of warm analogue sound Cori Nora sings about intimacy and communication in the age of digital hyperconnectivity, the desire for shortcuts in real life and coming to terms with one’s own vulnerability. Growing up in a musician’s household, improvisation has always been a close companion in her music and life. Continuously exploring new textures and sounds, Cori Nora creates a sonic language which is its own quirky universe. Neither folk nor jazz nor indie pop, her music thrives on great dynamic contrasts, distinctive lyrics and unexpected twists and turns.
