Castle in Time Orchestra

Castle in Time Orchestra is an independent contemporary large ensemble with acoustic and electronic instruments that perform original music. The orchestra acts from a desire to expand borders and research fields of sounds and performative behaviors. The musicians are an integral part of the creation processes and specialize in written music, live composition, and Soundpainting. Since its founding in 2015, Castle in Time performed in numerous venues and festivals in Israel and abroad. Its repertoire contains a wide range of pieces, from solos and string quartets to 25 instrumentalists, live concerts, and multi-speaker sound Installations. Founded by Matan Daskal (Artistic Director, Composer, and Conductor), Shalev Ne’eman (Artistic Director, Composer, and Percussionist), and Tal Donner (Manager), it has collaborated with Trilok Gurtu, Assaf Amdursky, Daskal, Ohad Fishof, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Tal Avraham, Anna Lann, Tal Vaknine, Stephen Horenstein, The Lab Orchestra, Chandana Bala Kalyan and more. Works under the Association for Multidisciplinary Art.
