Candar are a London-based duo with Devon-roots, made up of Ella Crossland (Vocal, Guitar) and Finn Mcauley (Drums). Returning from their 2023 Glastonbury Festival show, the band are taking up space on the festival scene headlining stages at Goldcoast, Oceanfest and making ground in the capital. Candar’s unique sound derives from melodic vocals drifting over dirty riffs and messy grooves. The wolfish energy of their live performances lies within the collision of heady drops, driving rhythm and the sophisticated drawl of powerful yet haunting vocals.
