a composer / songwriter born from fusion of the punk and chamber worlds, CALYPSO fuses genres and experiments with soundscapes to accompany anti-establishment and environmentally conscious lyrics. he thrives in the avant-garde, writing string quartets and arpeggiated melodies to create something just strange enough to not be radio friendly.
a collaborative creature, he often features friends like Kevin Wulf, Nora Baier, and sabrina ault to write music about pollution, capitalism, religion, or all of the above.
CALYPSO’s sonic world is one that incessantly evolves, branching out into other genres and making less sense as time passes.
