Her fiddling is in some ways, no-nonsense in that it is sturdy like an earth creature, some sort of ancient horse whose function is as present as its majesty. Bridget is equally capable of bowing out a dashing fill or climbing into exhilarating crescendos of folkloric resolution, as she is weaving lilting melodies through songs, drawing her fiddle into the background of a verse like a field of grasses holding a breeze.
