Axial

Project Axial was led by Sandra-X and Craca Beat and had 3 albums released and tours carried out in Paris, England, Czech Republic, Germany as well as Brazil, the countries of origin of its members. Axial's sound is an electronic and organic hybrid combining contemporary music with music from popular traditions. In his repertoire, in addition to his own songs or songs by Brazilian authors, we can find songs from Haiti, Argentina and several diasporic African nations. Sandra was also part of the A Barca group with which she traveled thousands of kilometers across Brazil in research with masters of traditional culture. The duo received the Catavento Trophy for their lifetime achievement in the Experimental Music category.
