All roads lead to Manchester. The cultural powerhouse of Northern Britain spits out great bands time and time again; with singer-songwriter Ashley Sherlock and his band consisting of bassist Charlie Rachael Kay and Danny Rigg bringing the percussive dynamic, combining to make one of the brightest prospects to enter the scene. On the move, on the make, armed with a beat-up Stelfox electric guitar, a hot knife of a voice and a pocketful of hooks, the acclaimed Mancunian and his telepathic blues-rock trio have already packed out iconic venues and pricked up influential ears. Following two widely received EP releases, Ashley Sherlock have caught the attention of international record label - Ruf Records, signing them up in late 2022. The following summer has seen the release of debut album "Just A Name" to critical acclaim. Louder Than War praised Sherlock by saying, “Ashley’s music will put a big stupid grin on your face,” while Get Ready to Rock professed, “his music will leave you wanting more.” and Classic Rock Magazine scored the album 9/10. Having supported such artists as Kris Barras Band, Laurence Jones Jack J Hutchinson and The Quireboys, and being fresh from two European tours with Blues Caravan 2023 (Live), Ashley Sherlock have recently been announced to appear on Planet Rock's Winters' End, in addition to many other festival line-ups across the UK
