Araukaaria

Araukaaria  is an art rock project from Viljandi, Estonia, led by independent artist Pepi (José Manuel Prieto Garay), who serves as its songwriter, producer, and frontman. Rooted in a collaborative spirit, the project draws on influences from vintage artists such as Pink Floyd, Sumo, Charly García, and Soda Stereo, as well as contemporary bands like Radiohead, Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado, and Mi Amigo Invencible, with touches of Argentinian folk music reflecting Pepi’s roots. The project features a rotating lineup of talented musicians who bring their energy to live performances while also contributing as co-writers and co-producers, adding their creative vision to the recording process and musical arrangements. Together, they craft intricate arrangements, memorable melodies, and a dynamic blend of soft, slow-burning sounds with moments of profound intensity. Singing in both English and Spanish, Araukaaria delivers an immersive, mystic, and ethereal experience that transcends boundaries, inviting listeners into a uniquely collaborative musical journey that blurs the lines between music and art.
