Anja Om combines very familiar yet intense emotions with enthralling music and truthful storytelling, a new artist who effortlessly blends contemporary vocal music, pop songs, avant-garde and classical music with an egocentric yet heartfelt perspective on life. Her third single "Little Child" (consisting of her vocals only) is a purely vocal number - you could say the only love song on the upcoming album "Egocentric Vision", which will be out in May 2022. It is about the fear of loss and the insecurity within relationships, the constant desire to be loved and the wish to love in return. Anja Om spielt mit selbstreflektierter Egozentrik und scheinbar banalen, aber intensiven Emotionen. Musikalisch vereint sie zeitgenössische Mehrstimmigkeit, Improvisation, erzählerische Pop-Songs und Klavier-basiertes Kunstlied. Textlich begibt sie sich auf die Suche nach der momentanen Wahrheit. Ihre dritte Single „Little Child“- ein rein vokaler Song – ist wohl das einzige Liebeslied auf ihrem im Mai 2022 erscheinenden Debut-Album „Egocentric Vision“. Dieser Song handelt von der Unsicherheit und der Verlustangst innerhalb einer Beziehung. Es geht um das ständige Verlangen geliebt zu werden, um sich beim Ausdruck der eigenen Liebe in Sicherheit zu wiegen.
