Akuji

A young, lone artist making do with what he can. The first album; A - Demo Tape was recorded within a month in a cramped, dirty bedroom with nothing but a guitar, a voice, no real knowledge of how to mix, and little confidence. Suffice to say those songs sound better when played live rather than on the actual album. Most of the songs are very personal, and confessional and were placed very carefully within the album. It’s like a evolution of feelings towards people/things, etc. There’s very few songs that are either playing a character or complete nonsense. Akuji is currently working on the next big thing (which is going to be much more professional than the last) and hits open mics whenever he can.
